  2. "I eat rice." →
  3. "I eat rice every day." →

  • Change subject: "She goes to the store."
  • Change verb: "She walks to the store."
  • Change object: "She walks to the park."
  • Change tense: "She walked to the park."

Conversation Practice

Role-Play Scenarios (Beginner)

  1. At a restaurant: Order food, ask for the menu, pay the bill

Learning Tips

  • Consistency > intensity: 30 min daily beats 3 hours on weekends
  • Use spaced repetition: Review at increasing intervals (1 day, 3 days, 7 days, 14 days)
  • Learn in context: Sentences > isolated words
  • Make mistakes: Errors are learning opportunities, not failures
  • Immerse yourself: Change phone language, listen to podcasts, watch shows
  • Speak from day one: Don't wait until you're "ready"
  • Focus on communication: Being understood matters more than being perfect

Resources by Method

  • Apps: Anki (flashcards), Duolingo (gamified), HelloTalk (language exchange)
  • Listening: Podcasts for learners, YouTube channels, music
  • Reading: Graded readers, dual-language books, news in simple language
